Add robust multi-factor authentication to your Ignition deployment — installed locally as a standard .modl module, with no cloud dependency and no data leaving your network.
Three authentication methods, one module:
Choose the method that fits your team — or mix and match per user role.

  • TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password) — Works with any RFC 6238 authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, and more). Codes rotate every 30 seconds and are verified entirely on your Gateway.
  • Email OTP — One-time codes delivered via your existing SMTP relay. No new infrastructure required.
  • SMS OTP — Text-message codes sent through your configured SMS gateway. Compatible with Twilio, AWS SNS, or any HTTP-based provider.
