NEW GAS PIPELINE!

On May 5, 1950, Westoc Oil and Gas, the predecessor to Mustang Fuel Corporation, commenced operations of its first natural gas pipeline, delivering fuel from the West Edmond gas field to Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company's (OG&E) new Mustang Power Plant. This milestone marked a significant advancement in Oklahoma's energy infrastructure, facilitating a more efficient and reliable supply of natural gas to meet the region's growing electricity demands.

The successful operation of this pipeline not only enhanced energy distribution but also laid the groundwork for future expansions in the state's energy sector. Over the subsequent decades, Mustang Fuel Corporation continued to develop its pipeline network, contributing to the modernization and resilience of Oklahoma's energy systems.
